CTO Device

Chronic Total Occlusion (CTO) is complete artery blockage, present for at least three months, and responsible for a significant decrease in blood flow. For successful endovascular treatment of a CTO, an interventionalist must be able to successfully cross the lesion. Covidien’s CTO treatment tools are designed to enable access to the distal end of a lesion so treatment can be undertaken using an endovascular approach.
